The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation that offers high quality programs of international education.

Austin High School offers two IB programs

The Middle Years Programme (MYP) is for all students in grades 6-10 and includes acquisition of a second language and the development of essential 21st century skills.

The Diploma Programme (DP) is a two year college preparation program that meets the needs of highly motivated students, and leads to a qualification that is recognized by leading universities around the world.

IB Exams will begin May 2nd. Review sessions will begin on April 30th. Please see the IB coordinator for a copy of the schedule.

Juniors will begin Extended Essays in January. The EE Orientation meeting will be on Wednesday, January 4th at 1:30 pm in the IB Office.

Tok Presentations will be on December 15th from 12:30 to 3pm in the S-20
